This challenge consists in a race between two Scribblers. The main objective of the game is to have the best lap time and come first to the finish line. Each Scribbler track completely separated from the other Scribbler by a wall, at one point the track has a crossover. The Scribblers can navigate through the track using the black line on the track or by using the walls as indicators of the left turn.
Race of Scribblers is part of a Scribbler Robot Contest held by SmartCubo Torneo Nacional de Robotica. Visit www.SmartCubo.com for details.
Race Game Rules
- Only unmodified Parallax Scribbler Robots (Serial #28136 or with USB Adapter #28336) using AA batteries are eligible to participate.
- The robots must start on their own start line.
- The start will be indicated by the main judge that will let the scribblers go.
- In the case that one robot laps another, it will be declared the winner and will have a free lap running alone to register its time. If this occurs in the final round the robot will be declared the final winner.
- In the elimination or qualification rounds, the robots will only make one lap, which will require returning to the start position.
- In this phase the qualification will be made out of the lap times, not the races won.
- In the final rounds, only the best 16 lap times will classify, that means the best 16 teams.
- In the final rounds the robots are going to race for two laps, and the winner will be the one that finishes first.
