This tutorial is about using the offline Mu editor to program a micro:bit module and cyber:bot robot. However, the online Python Editor is recommended for all Parallax micro:bit tutorials. Only use the Mu editor if you must program your micro:bit without an Internet connection.

Before you start
You will need:
- A computer with software installation permission
- Access to the Internet to obtain the Mu installer
- A micro:bit module with USB cable
- A USB A to C adapter if your computer only has USB C ports
