In this project you will build a robotic arm controlled via a 2-axis joystick mounted on an Arduino Board of Education Shield. With this nifty gadget you can write your name, doodle objects on paper, and get your feet wet in the world of inverse kinematics.
What’s Required:
- 1 – Boe-Bot to shield-Bot retrofit kit with Arduino Uno (910-32333)
- 1 – Joystick (27800)
- 2 – Standard servos (900-00005)
- 1 – Laser cut arm to mount servos
- 1 – Laser Cut Base
- 1 – Lase cut Pin holder
- misc jumper wires
You’ll also need the following hardware:
- 8 – #2-56-1/4in screw
- 8 – #2-56 nut
- 8 – #4-40 3/8in screw
- 10 – #4-40 nut
- 2 – #4-40 1/2in screw
- 2 – #4 Nylon Washer
- 2 – #4-40 7/8in screw
- 2 – Spacers
